Jake Kastan

Managing Director, Capital Formation & Investor Relations

Jake Kastan joined Dakota Pacific Real Estate in 2024. He oversees capital formation, investor relations, and network development.

Jake is a board member of the American Idea Foundation. Founded by former U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, the foundation brings together grassroots organizations, academia, think tanks, and national policymakers to develop new insights and to put those insights to work in improving public policy and communities.

Prior to Dakota Pacific, Jake was a Principal at Peterson Partners, a private equity firm based in Salt Lake City with $2.5B in assets under management. Previously, Jake worked as the Political Director for Speaker Paul Ryan in Washington DC. He was Paul Ryan’s personal aide during the 2012 presidential election and began his career working for Mitt Romney in Boston, MA.

Jake graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in Political Science and earned an MBA from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business.
